What are the public issues that are resolved in this commitment?

Through Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 39 of 2019 concerning One Data Indonesia (Satu Data Indonesia), it is required that the harmonisation of the data obtained by each ministry and institution is needed to be more accurate, up-to-date, integrated, accountable, easily accessible, and shareable. However, in its implementation, there are sectoral egos as well as bureaucratic and coordination problems which make the implementation of the Presidential Regulation an obstacle. This problem needs to be resolved immediately because the community and the government need connected and accurate data to formulate development programs as well as all kinds of strong and accurate public services.

Integration of regional-level data into the Satu Data Indonesia page (www.satudata.go.id)

How will the commitment contribute to solving the public problem?

Information disclosure and availability of valid, complete, accurate, and integrated development data are essential as one of the crucial instruments in achieving an open and informative government.

Why is this commitment relevant to the Open Government values?

This program will support Open Government values, namely transparency and accountability. Up-to-date and open data integration will make it easier for the government to create policies that are more targeted and enable better public participation.

Commitment Alignment with the National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN) and SDGs

This commitment is in accordance with the target of SDGs No. 16 namely “Strengthening Inclusive and Peaceful Societies for Sustainable Development, Providing Access to Justice for All, and Building Effective, Accountable and Inclusive Institutions at All Levels.”
